The European Exam in General Cardiology (EEGC) (originally the KBA) is a mandatory knowledge-based requirement for UK cardiologists in training and an increasing number of European colleagues.
Since its establishment in 2015, the BJCA’s ‘Cardiology to the Core’ has provided an annual comprehensive review of the cardiology curriculum, delivered by leading UK cardiologists with international profiles and exam board faculty to offer an excellent opportunity to sharpen your knowledge prior to the EEGC/KBA examination.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020/2021 iteration of this perennially oversubscribed meeting will be virtual. Delegates can access key syllabus aligned talks, complete with exam-style questions and expert insights on the EEGC revision tab. We also look forward to welcoming you to our live interactive session on Saturday 30th January, with key faculty including the UK EEGC chair. Delegates will have the opportunity to work through further exam style questions, ask questions and grill our experts on core concepts. Once registered you will receive the login details for this Zoom session. All content will be available for on-demand review for those busy battling COVID.
We are delighted to offer this resource to UK, European and International cardiologists in training. Owing to generous support from our sponsor, we are able to offer this outstanding programme free of charge to UK trainees undertaking the exam. We ask for a small contribution from our international colleagues towards the cost of producing and hosting the material. At £0.03/minute of high-quality education – we hope you agree it’s great value!
The very best of luck with your exam preparation!
