BJCA Newswire –  20th August 2024

BJCA at ESC

We hope that those of you lucky enough to be going to ESC 2024 are excited. To help build a better UK trainee community at the event we wanted to get the details of those attending so that we can create a BJCA@ESC WhatsApp group. Additionally, if you let us know about any presentations, you’re doing we’ll be able to create a calendar of presentations and hopefully ensure that you have some moral support when you’re presenting.

If you’re coming, fill in this form to let us know.

GIM during advanced training

We have become aware of significant variation in how deaneries are implementing GIM training during ST7 and ST8. After discussion with the SAC and JRCPTB we will soon be sending a clear and succinct document to all GIM TPDs in an attempt to minimise this. If you have any concerns about the volume of GIM you are being asked to do within your final years of training please contact us (in particular any full time blocks > 1 month).
