Women in Cardiology

BJCA is dedicated to supporting all trainees in cardiology and promoting equality within the specialty.  

The Women in Cardiology committee within the BCS and BJCA offers resources for female and female-identifying trainees as well as promoting cardiology amongst medical students and junior doctors.

Buddy Scheme

The BCSWIC team have developed a return-to-work buddy scheme for any cardiology trainee/consultant returning to work after a period of absence. If anyone is interested in becoming a ‘buddy’ or would like to be paired up with someone, please email the Women in Cardiology Committee.

There are frequent webinars and conferences organised to support Women in Cardiology. These are advertised regularly in BJCA newswire.
