This meeting seeks to support the growth of Tricuspid Valve Interventions in the UK.
Aimed at the heart team, the meeting takes an integrated approach to tricuspid valve interventions including transcatheter and endoscopic surgery, through a combination of case reviews, evaluation of the latest evidence and practical interventional tips and tricks.
The programme allows time for extended multidisciplinary roundtable discussion and debate overseen by a panel of UK and international experts.

CardioStars – research translation and commercialisation from the British Heart Foundation
The CardioStars programme, run in partnership between the BHF and Panacea Innovation, helps physicians and scientists take their discoveries and turn them into products that can make a difference to patients.
Action is an entry-level initiative for those with little or no experience of research translation or commercialisation. You don’t need a specific project or idea to take part, only enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. The centrepiece of Action is a one day bootcamp on Friday 18th October at the Royal Society of Medicine in London. Applications are now open; the deadline is Friday 27th September.
Develop is designed to support researchers who are actively working on a specific translational project that seeks to address a real world problem. The programme offers accessible training in building a business, developing a team, planning finances, managing intellectual property and fundraising. The three day bootcamp will take place from Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th November at Trinity College, Oxford. Applications are now open; the deadline is Friday 18th October.

NECMR MRI Course
The NECMR MRI course is a two-day course undertaken in person with access to state-of-the-art software with 50 cases to review aimed at cardiology and radiology trainees . The course is delivered by a faculty who are EACVI level 3 accredited. This course will allow participants to acquire essential skills in cardiac MRI, aligned with the national curricula for radiology and cardiology. The course provides appropriate content to cover the minimum dataset for EACVI level 1 training and can contribute towards cases for EACVI level 2 and level 3 accreditation. BSE-BJCA ST4 Echo skills day – registration open!
Registration is now open for the joint BSE-BJCA Echo skills days which are being run across Manchester, Cardiff, Peterborough, Newcastle and London on several dates through September to October 2024. This excellent course aims to give new ST4 trainees a full introduction to echocardiography, including both live scanning and image interpretation and as an approved course is claimable on study budget. Registration is now open for the British Cardiovascular Society’s Core Curriculum Course in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. This excellent two-day course is running at RCP London on the 3rd – 4th October 2024.
