BCS 2024 Update: Registration is now open for the BCS Education Zone

Registration is now open for the BCS Education Zone. The Education Zone is an exciting section of the BCS Annual Conference which offers hands on 1:1 and 1:2 bespoke training with an expert trainer. You can register for these free sessions by logging into your conference booking. Please note spaces are filling very quickly, so book now to avoid disappointment.

We will also shortly open registration for the popular imaging Masterclasses, so if you were unable to book the imaging session you wanted there is still a chance! Do keep an eye out for the date in future mailings.

Free Virtual ACHD Sessions: Part 1. Simple Lesions – Tuesday 21st May 2024, 9am – 1pm

Are you struggling to access ACHD training opportunities to supplement your ACHD CIPs? Virtual ACHD Sessions are offering you the opportunity to spend a morning learning about simple lesions in ACHD to supplement your training. Through the form of online PBL, you will consolidate your knowledge and acquire new foundations to ensure you are confident in dealing with ACHD patients and prepared for the EECC exam.

BHRS EP Traces and Hands-on Simulation Days: 10-11 June 2024 at Delta Hotels by Marriott, Bristol City Centre

On the 10th June Dr Simon Modi’s ever popular EP traces.
Followed by 11th June a wealth of opportunity for all trainees wanting: pericardiocentesis simulation, hands on CIED programming, mentis device implant simulation (including CRT and CSP). London Arrhythmia Summit: 14 June 2024, The King’s Fund, London

The London Arrhythmia Summit aims to provide high-quality arrhythmia and pacing education in a succinct one-day format in the UK. The talks are short and focussed with key take-home messages highlighted in a retainable manner. Some presentations will have provocative titles to enable drilling down to key clinical questions that we often ask in routine patient care. There will be no-holds-barred debates with heavyweights in the arrhythmia field tackling challenging clinical scenarios and questions. Liverpool Structural Cardiology Course: 12 July 2024, The Muncipal Hotel, Liverpool

The Liverpool Structural Cardiology Simulation Course is a full day, hands-on course designed to offer a comprehensive and in depth experience on all aspects of structural intervention. It will give delegates exposure to TAVI, TEER (Mitral Valve intervention), PFO/ASD closure, left atrial appendage occluders as well as core skills such as vascular closure and transeptal puncture. The course is heavily subsidised and has limited spaces. All Cardiology trainees are welcome and delegates will be grouped according to their experience level for an individualised experience.
