BJCA Survey 2024 – IS NOW LIVE!

It’s the most important time of the year again, the BJCA 2024 survey is now live. This is the most powerful tool the BJCA has to drive change and improve training in cardiology, it’s your feedback that matters! The survey is open to ALL cardiology registrars and fellows whether you hold an NTN or not. Some important changes that have come from the survey data in the last 12 months include:

1) Better echo training provision and simulation training
2) Produced annual reports of deaneries to hold them to account
3) Provided essential data to ensure that BCS, the SAC, and JRCPTB must continue to acknowledge issues around the new curriculum, training conditions and trainee welfare and lobby for meaningful change moving forward.

This year’s survey has a focus on the impact of physician associates on cardiology training, along with important sections on the impact of the new curriculum on academic training and inequalities in study budgets and training course access. The survey should take a maximum of 20 minutes to complete (link below) and please encourage all your colleagues to fill it in.

As always we are offering the chance to win FREE registration to ESC Congress which this year is in London between August 30th to September 2nd. We have fifty free registrations up for grabs and all responders who complete the survey and add their details on the final page of the survey can be entered into the prize draw.
