Job Title: Cross sectional imaging fellowship
Description: The post is suitable for a cardiology trainee with an interest in imaging to acquire skills for scanning, supervising and reporting cardiac CT and MR independently. There are two clinics and no on call commitment.
Previous fellows have attained level 3 CMR and level 2 CTCA accreditation during the year and typically report 1000 scans. There is also a research component at the University of Leeds (required for level 3 CMR accreditation). The post is particularly suited to a trainee keen to learn about setting up and running cross-sectional imaging services.
This post is not a recognised UK training post but we can support applications to get the position approved as OOP if the doctor is already in a training programme.
