Job Title: Senior Fellowship in Devices and Inherited Cardiac Conditions (or Heart Failure)
Description: This 12 Month position would suit a senior trainee wishing to expand their experience in the field of device implantation, (Including complex devices, sub-cutaneous ICDs, leadless devices, conduction system pacing and lead extraction). There is also an opportunity to gain further training in Inherited cardiac conditions and or heart failure.
Sheffield is a high volume device centre with 11 Device implanters covering the full range of device management. Sheffield has a long and well established ICC service with 3 consultants and 8 specialist nurses and runs highly specialised clinics in Transition, Cardio-Neuromuscular, Fabry, Vascular EDS, Sarcoidosis and LVOT obstruction management.
There is opportunity to participate in research and attend specialised training courses.
The fellowship post has been running for 2 years and previous fellows have been successful in gaining their first choice consultant Device/ ICC/ HF posts.
