A 3-module Fellowship programme to support Fellows going from first implant to compentency

Following the success of the BJCA Device Programming course,we are pleased to advertise this 3-module course that aims to comprehensively provide trainees with exposure and dedicated training in implanting cardiac devices. This course is aimed at ST3-ST6 level registrars who are starting their journey as implanters. Course Director, Dr Jonathan Behar is a Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist and has designed an interactive course to standardise an explicit foundation for all trainees to reinforce good habits and behaviours from the very start. Especially important as practice can vary so significantly from operator to operator and centre to centre.
The dates and modules titles are as follows
Module 1: Core Knowledge of Cardiac Pacing. (11th and 12th January 2021)
Module 2: Core Knowledge of Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (16th and 17th March 2021)
Module 3: Core Knowledge of Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (2nd and 3rd June 2021)
As spaces are limited, applicants are expected to commit to the course in entirity, with the pre-requisite study leave to attend all sessions.
