Register now for the 2023 European Exam in Core Cardiology

Passing the EECC is a curriculum requirement for CCT in the UK and is administered by the European Society of Cardiology, in conjunction with the UEMS Cardiology Section and the national cardiac societies.

The 2023 exam will take place on Tuesday 13 June and registration is now open – the closing date for registrations is 11.59pm on Monday 20 February. There are two points of entry to the exam – one for UK trainees and one for CESR candidates, please follow the links below:

BCS A Year in Cardiology course

This course which was postponed from December due to the train strike now takes place on Thursday 9 February. The course reviews the biggest and most relevant topics of the past 12 months and is a must-attend for consultants and cardiology trainees who wish to keep up to date on advances in cardiology.

Bookings for the December date have been carried over and there are still places available – book here by 12 noon on 6 February.

British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) Symposium

The British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) will be holding their first ever symposium at the Royal College of Physicians, London on 28th March. This is pitched at experienced professionals working in arrhythmia and device cardiology with state-of-the-art updates across the field.
These sessions are intended to update knowledge on:

  •         implantable cardiac rhythm management devices
  •         ablation of ventricular arrhythmias
  •         ablation of atrial fibrillation

Registration is open for BHRS members on a first come, first served basis. There will be a small contributory fee of £20. Please ensure your membership is up to date – or become a member to ensure your place.
